There's been a high-level shakeup in the army. Three generals have been sacked, following an investigation into their handling of Moslem rioting some months ago. Some 80 people died while in Army custody, and caused much discontent in the south. While the government wanted to apply more peaceful solutions to problems in the south, many generals disagreed. The generals have lost the argument.
