Mongolia has just ordered $270 million worth of military equipment (parachutes, small arms, ammunition, and various other items) from Russia. This is apparently the first time that Mongolia has actually bought weapons from Moscow after decades of receiving billions of dollars in free military aid.--Stephen V Cole
