The Air Force is getting nervous as the Bush Administration will not give the go-ahead for production of the F-22 Raptor fighter, something everyone had assumed would come automatically. While go-ahead is still expected by September, some budget shifting is being done to keep the production base intact. The Bush Administration says that no major programs will be kicked off (or kicked out) until it has completed its strategic review and formulated an overall strategic plan.--Stephen V Cole
