Eurofighter is pressuring the Dutch to buy the Typhoon instead of the Joint Strike Fighter, offering them a chance to participate in the Tranche-3 development program (The design of the Tranche-2, or second series, Typhoons is all but finished.). The Dutch parliament is expected to decide in September or October, about the time that the US was to pick the winning design.
