The 82nd Airborne Division, on duty in Afghanistan, has begun taking female MPs on combat and security patrols so that there will be American females available to search Afghan females. More and more Afghan females have been found smuggling weapons under their flowing burkhas. Because of the sensibilities of Afghans, it is politically impossible for American men to search Afghan women.--Stephen V Cole
