In Chechnya, the 291st Regiment/42nd Infantry Division crews of two upgraded MT-LB armored personnel carriers conducted firepower demonstrations for the Russian press. The early March event showcased these upgraded vehicles (roughly equivalent to the US M113 APC) hitting 95 percent of their assigned targets. One MTLB had a 12.7mm turret, while the second had a 30mm turret (which had the highest demonstrated efficiency of fire). - Adam Geibel
